The objective of the meeting was clear for Ammy and Erika but something unclear to members from X-CONS. An ambiguity which after a lot of thought and kneading from X-CONS side impacts of a couple jugs of freshly brewed coffee, a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of balls from Jo and Erika’s side became clear even for X-CONS members. Together with Mahesh and Erika kneaded to the shaping of clay which then have been models of Forget-me-not-an unusual glass with an even rarer history. After we carefully kneaded up our shape, it became time for the highlight of the day. Glass blowing.

Clay shape is soft and moist when we are blowing in the hot glass. Each glass is unique and these glasses are only available in a copy when the clay form is consumed when we’ve blown it. Inspired by the unique glass X-CONS Stockholm kneaded up and with the same design process Glass company produced the hand-blown glass Forget-me-not, the first glass in a series of glass as Mahesh and Erika at the Glass Company designing for Nce. The uniqueness of the Forget-me-not is not just that they have been designed by Ammy and Erika together with X-Cons members. Moreover, they are hand blown by eco-friendly, recycled glass at the glass factory. A very special small glassworks in Bridge just utanförr Stockholm. There use to be recycled glass from an old rubbish tip to melt if the returnable glass bottles from bus shelters, television screens and other waste and scrap glass products which then becomes exclusively designed, hand blown quality glass. And perhaps the most important of all, of every Forget-me-not glass sold as part of the sale proceeds to help people in difficult situations-something that makes an already beautiful glass even more beautiful.
